Welcome to Old Vail Middle School
Our first bell rings everyday at 7:55am. Our second bells rings promptly at 8:00 am when the school day begins. All students should be seated in their first period classroom at this time. School ends promptly at 2:55pm on regular day schedules.

Old Vail Middle School offers a comprehensive, standards-based curriculum, provides academically challenging instruction and promotes positive interactions between the school, students, families and the community.
In our actions and instruction we will:
Provide a standards-based curriculum, which enables students to develop basic and critical thinking skills.
Identify, explore and develop students’ interests and abilities, supporting their academic efforts through exploration and enrichment in the classroom.
Provide targeted remediation to promote students’ academic growth and proficiency.
Be respectful and caring in all interactions.
Model appropriate attitudes and values.
Guide students in behavior consistent with our ACT statement.
Communicate regularly and often with families.
Actively involve families and community in the school.
