It's Honors Night for all our Senior Honors and High Honors students! 🎉 Students who have earned “Honors” have earned a 3.5-3.9 weighted GPA throughout their High School careers. Congratulations to the University of Oklahoma gymnastics team on winning the 2025 NCAA Gymnastics National Championship this past weekend! Kelsey Slade (pictured) is a 2024 CHS graduate and part of the University of Oklahoma gymnastics team! Congratulations to the whole team! 🥇

These 4 (missing one) incredible Bobcats showed what it means to be a CHS CAT at the Willie Williams Track Meet, the big The University of Arizona annual track meet. These 4x400 girls were part of a race that ended with an unforgettable act of kindness and sportsmanship.
Cienega finished second to Mica Mountain High School's girls in an incredibly close race (.4 seconds). After 20 minutes of thinking they had won 1st place, Mica Mountain was disqualified due to stepping out of the line. The moment could’ve ended there—with medals and standings. But instead, these Bobcats did something extraordinary.
One by one, they took off their first-place shirts and gave them to the Mica girls.
They said: "We are sister schools, and we can share this win together."
In a world that often celebrates only the scoreboard, these young women reminded us all what true victory looks like—compassion, character, and community.
Today, Principal Kim Middleton surprised Malia Dojaquez (9), Rose Barlette (11), Malia Mack (10), and Tiffany Armenta (10) with the Heart of a Bobcat Award for emphasizing Integrity, Sportsmanship and Character by displaying the highest level of respect and the embodiment of what it means to be a CAT!
